This week every day are coming members of the women’s museums to the II Feminist Congress in Buenos Aires. Graciela Tejero Coni from women’s museum Buenos Aires/Argentina and Claudia Mandel from women’s museum Costa Rica have organized the IIIrd Congress of women’s museums and were waiting for us.

On monday the first of all was Helen Joraslafsky from Alice Springs/Australia to come to Buenos Aires.

On Tuesday the director of the women’s museum from Central Africa, Rachel Mamba, was arriving very early in the morning.The same day in the morning the delegation of the women’s museum Merano/Italy - Sissi Prader, Uli Gutweniger and Astrid Schönweger - arrived to the Congress Hotel Bauen in the center of Buenos Aires. Also the Corean delegation of 5 persons around the dircetor Heasung Kim came to this Congress Hotel in the afternoon.

On Wednesday we welcome Catherine King from the women’s museum of San Francisco/USA and also Tetyana Isaeva and Maria Chorna, women’s and gender museum of Ukraine. In the evening arrived Bettina Bab and Lene Pamphola from women’s museum Bonn/Germany, Stefanie Pitscheider from women’s museum Hittisau/Austria and also Kari Sommerseth Jacobson and Mona Holm from women’s museum Kongsvinger/Norway.

For the 24th, the first day of women’s museums congress, we are waiting for Patricia Galeana, women’s museum initiative of Mexico, and a delegation from Switzerland, sent from Martha Beery, who can not be at the Congress here.
