We are very pleased to announce that the Second European Conference on Politics and Gender will be hosted by the CEU in January 2011. The event is the bi-annual conference of the European Consortium for Political Research Standing Group on Gender and Politics. The Center for Policy Studies and the Gender Studies Department are hosting it at the CEU.
The conference will have sessions on

- states and public policy
- research methods
- violence war and security
- development and democracy
- sexuality and the body
- identity and multiculturalism
- citizenship and
- European and international governance.
The website of the conference is now live. On-line application with papers and panels is open now. The deadline for applying is 18th of June, 2010.
